Eigentlich wollte ich - es liegt nahe in Bonn - ein Foto von Ludwig van Beethovens Geburtshaus machen. Da ich aber am Freitag erst nach Hause kam und keine Zeit hatte, habe ich mich im Haus umgeschaut, ob es Alternativen gibt.

Da fielen mir meine Buddha-Figuren im Wohnzimmer ins Auge.
Siddharta Gautana, geboren 563 v Chr. in Indien war Begründer des Buddhismus.
Die Figuren habe ich nicht aus religiösen Gründen. Ich finde sie einfach schön und sie strahlen eine friedliche Ruhe aus.

Was sagt mir das Foto noch? Zeit, mal wieder Fenster zu putzen ...

Long time ago I took shots of "beautifully" stained bathroom tiles, but my mother saw them just as dirty =D

And yes, Siddharta Gautana is a great choice. And very beautifully taken shot, despite the stains on the window glass, which actually look like stars ;-)

You hadn't cleaned the windows for a reason. You just didn't know what it was. Now you have perfectly beautiful bokeh surrounding this lovely tranquil figure.

Die Foto finde ich wunderschön verträumt. Dazu passt das Bokeh hervorragend und unterstreicht die Verträumtheit noch. Mir gefällt auch die silbrige Einfarbigkeit der Figur mit ihren Reflektionen im Vordergrund zum bunten aquarellfarbenen Hintergrund.

Although you wanted something different your choice as an alternative is very beautiful Chrissy and a good choice for the challenge. Well taken, with all the elements playing well together. I like the effect that there seems to be peace and well being radiating from the image. All in all a very nice photograph with your artistic touch. :)

Oh I didn't notice your dirty windows, just thought those little pieces were part of the overall background!
