U is for underwater
For a long time I could not find a suitable image for U. Then Janet gave the idea: Underwater.
I remembered a field trip from the University to the South of France. The topic was marine biology and we should snorkel for sea animals. I had a Canon IXUS at that time and my friend Michael (Paradise) had an underwater housing for it, which he lent me. This photo shows a fellow student.
Friends, you feel so free in the water. When I see this picture, I would like to have an underwater housing for my camera and go to the sea soon...

Where did you go snorkeling? *sigh* Oh, it is just the most wonderful thing to go diving...I don't remember if you have been scuba diving before but there really is just nothing like it. My favorite thing to do is to settle down on the sea floor, with my knees on the sand, holding hands with Steve. We are relaxed and breathe infrequently so there are not too many bubbles, and soon, the fishies all come back out of their hiding places, and suddenly, it's like being inside a tropical aquarium with zillions of beautiful fish everywhere around you, the sun shining into the water and twinkling, glowing on the corals and sponges, flashing off the fishes as they swim around. To be a visitor and see these animals going about their lives where we can observe them in a relaxed state, it is such bliss. It is a gift every time that has no price tag. I hope I get to go scuba diving again sometime in the next few years! :)
