Valencia wurde ursprünglich nicht am Meer erbaut. Die Altstadt liegt etwa 4 km vom Meer entfernt. Heute ist der Strand dank der Metro in ein paar Minuten erreichbar.
Die kilometerlangen Stadt-Strände sind Las Arenas, Malvarrosa und El Cabañal, sie sind hier bis ca. 200 Meter breit!

Nach dem grau-in-grau in unseren Breiten war's echt eine schöne Abwechslung, 'mal wieder etwas Farbe zu sehen ;-))

Eine solche Aufnahme wäre im Sommer wohl kaum möglich ;-)
(Auch wenn's teilweise schon über 20°C warm war)
