A peacock is abstract inherently (see also PiP's) and the photo is almost SOOC (a bit cropped), but I'm not sure if it fits to the theme - if not, I'll add another! - Based on the discussion in the group and Wendi's suggestion, I've now added the first of the notes!

All of your images are gorgeous; the first two in your notes make for perfect abstracts (I really like the second image)! You are right, peacocks are inherently abstract. :-)

These are all beautiful. Don't know which I like best. The main one to me is abstract because of where you placed the Peacock's head. Really like that.

Thanks also for the suggestions to crop the photo, Diederik and Jean-Marc - first I had the same idea but then I though it's not necessary to have a close up to show something abstract in nature! ;-D

Dida, after the discussion in the group, I think this should be swapped out for one of the other more closely cropped feather shots.. (the first or second alternate you posted in the notes) They are more the 'abstract' we were looking for this week.
