In Klein Trebbow haben zu Ostern 1944 vorbereitende Gespräche zum Attentatsversuch am 20. Juli 1944 stattgefunden. Die Grafen Stauffenberg und v. d. Schulenburg haben hierbei aus Gründen der Vertraulichkeit auch den kleinen Pavillon – genannt „Teehaus“ – genutzt.
