Thanks Anton. It was only to be for a week but as you say we really did feel privileged with views like this from inside and outside. In the evenings our two settees here faced this view and so often we did nothing but relax and gaze out to watch the few fishing boats pass by as the sun set. See tomorrows photo.

Eigg has such an unmistakeable shape! In this silvery light the view looks very beautiful. It must have been great to enjoy such a view out of the window!

Yes, it cannot be mistaken. We would have liked to explore the Island but the main ferry there went on the same day as our trip to Rum. I imagine you too have had such views from some of your many Icelantic stays. Glad you liked it.

Yes, it's much cooler up there at the moment at around 19C whilst it is 31C here at our house in Oldham. Our continental neighbours have it even warmer, 39C in Paris. Better by weekend hopefully. Glad you liked this one that certainly looks colder than it does around here at the moment.

Yes, your kind of place too, i know. We were lucky to find this cottage but had a clue as my brother-in-law had stopped here too some years back and raved about it. I would go again tomorrow but the latest summer rents are amazingly high. Cheers for the star.
