Glorious blue-hour light.........and I love the touch of colour across the horizon.The still waters are really beautiful and I like the silhouetted jetty.

My kind of photography here Keith. The light and ambiance only lasted short time and so I was happy with the few shots I managed to fire off. A great spot, only a five minute walk from our overnight AbnB. The morning brought quite a different feeling to this scene of which I will share on here too.
My pleasure to be back amongst my Ipernity friends. When I am on holiday I can and do see my Ipernity gallery and comments on my phone but generally, as you know, I take a break.

a little story to amuse. I was born in Scotland but my Dad was English one day he got into conversation with a neighbour a real Glaswegian and he asked Dad how he was enjoying his new home. Dad he was very happy and pointed North and said “we didn’t think we would be able to see Ben Lomond from the front step”. the reply .. “I always thought that was a pit heap”
… A much repeated family story.

I haven't been to Loch Lomond in many years. It's good to see that it's still as beautiful as I remember. The light and framing here are perfect - a stunning image!
