Wheat as far as the eye can see.
Next to the broken house I had the chance to get up close to the wheat field and this years crop. This crop is not quite ready for harvest still some green on the heads. the slope is the start of the Rise to Mt O'Brien to the left of picture.

Not yet mid summer and the wheat is ready for the harvest. It's funny to think about that when we are approaching midwinter.

You can see we really are all not in the same place by the huge differences between seasons that we all have. I have never seen so much wheat in my life but its not know as the wheat belt for nothing...
