Heavy crop of the moon

Heavy crop of the moon
When I got home I took a photo of the full Bright moon. Below the Shots I took from the Coast so I could get as Much distance from the Cloud bank to try and see the moon as soon as I could. I can not get over how much detail of the Surface of the moon is captured. Well worth a look large.

Great shots Steve. Too cold plus cloudy until full dark here. Looked at it with the 10/50s for a minute then left it to get its light back.

It was great to get above the clouds but I ended up in the hardest part to take photos the bright ring of light getting bigger. I was staggered by the Detail in the shot so went for this crop to share.

It was a little disappointing not to be able to get more shots of the eclipse but thats life. The shot from home was a real bonus on the night.
