Splendid Blue Fairy Wren

Splendid Blue Fairy Wren
The one time I kicked my self for not taking a longer lens on the bus trip. "I will not be seeing any birds" 120mm is just not long enough but what a colour statement, moral of the story never say never..

Love the superb fairy wrens, Steve. They are magical little creatures. Don’t they move fast? !

They would have to be the hardest family of birds to try and take photos of they dont sit still . most cases I have lots of shot on 600mm of birds flying out of frame or not even in frame from focus to fire and I use back button focus as its faster. one day I will get lucky but I do have a few shots better than none at all.
