Trees around here have not even started to turn show you how much colder it is down here,. than where we are. A little more like your scenery that ours alright.

Superb colours and great composition.

I have never fully understood leaf fall. I was originally taught it was the cold nights that prompted it, but last summer (one of the hottest in Europe) we had dead leaves all over the place!

Peter you not see the biggest problem I face as well most trees that loose there leaves over winter have very soft leaves . Here in WA the leaves get cooked brown so in the end you get no colour as there are no leaves to turn. I have started a Bonsai Liquid amber as you see here they are meant to take the heat but I am finding in the first year not very good but it may be that as it came from nursery stock under shade cloth it needs to toughen up. I have high hopes for next year.

A great fence image, things are supposed to be warming up here but some frosty mornings and cold winds, HFF and a good weekend Steve

I can tell you the mornings and nights here have taken a huge shift down in temperature. Night shooting is now lots of cloths to keep warm. As the trees show winter is just around the corner.
