Sandhill Crane watching me.

A week ago I photographed the pair of Sandhill Cranes, but today only one was in the same location. The bird did not move, even though it must have see us on the trail. My dog Maggie stood frozen next to me, that helped.

Taking jelly to the chicks.

This male Baltimore Oriole is taking jelly to the nest for his offspring. How he can get it there like this amazes me. This is the jelly feeder I made out of a water bottle.
