It is wonderful that bald eagles have thrived. A few decades ago they were very rare.

Until about ten years ago I had never seen one in the wild. This pair has made a tree their home two miles from where we live. I saw a pair in Cheboygan and one on Harsen's Island and I know there is a breeding pair near Atlanta Michigan, because I saw one catch fish on Rush Lake.
