Die Raue Grasnatter hatte längere Zeit Gastrecht in den Terrarien unserer Zoohandlung. Wenn ich sie rausgenommen habe, schlängelte sie sich gern um meinen Hals, wo sie stundenlag ruhend ausharrte. Wenn ich zu neugirigen Fragestellung meinte, dass das eine ganz zahme Grüne Mamba sei, erlebte ich die tollsten Sprünge weg von der "Giftschlange". Die Tiere sind total harmlos und werden so etwas wie zahm. Leckerbissen sind den Grasnattern vorallem Spinnen.
Schöne Aufnahme dieses schönen und liebenswerten Tieres.

Thank you very much for the interesting story. This species is very calm and might rest on one's shoulder or arm for a long time; I don't know. I think there are not enough insects and worms living on my body to feed a snake.
