Wie in vielen Orten British Columbias nimmt auch in Hope der Tourismus beständig zu. Neben den Naturschönheiten, die sich für Wanderer, Rafter, Kajakfahrer am leichtesten erschließen (z. B. der Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park), bietet der Ort selbst seine Geschichte dar. Das gilt für das Hope Museum, aber auch die Historic Christ Church Anglican von 1861. Daneben gelten die Hope Arts Gallery und der Japanese Friendship Garden im Memorial Park sowie 20 große Holzstatuen als Attraktionen. Hope dürfte einer der wenigen Orte sein, in dem Kettensägen-Schnitzen in Gebrauch ist (chainsaw carving).@:Wikipedia

Situated in a majestic mountain setting at the east end of the lush Fraser Valley, Hope offers all the amenities of a large centre, while at the same time preserving the life style of a small community. Hope boasts an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities; scenic trails for all levels of hikers and bikers; pristine lakes, streams and creeks for fishers and water sport enthusiasts. A wide variety of accommodations exists for those looking for campsites or hotel/motels. A modern recreation complex which houses an indoor swimming and leisure pool, the Reflexions fitness centre, a library and an arena are situated on the same site as a four sheet curling rink, baseball diamonds and a skateboard park.
The Hope Golf and Country Club, situated at the confluence of the Coquihalla and Fraser Rivers has some of the most magnificent scenery you will find anywhere. @: hope.ca
