... das ist ein weiterer Blick auf die Katholische Kirche in Electrénai (Litauen), deren Bau 1990 beschlossen wurde (Unabhängigkeit Litauens von der ehem. Sowjetunion). Seit 2004 zählt sie zu den erstaunlichsten modernen Sakralbauten Europas.

Ich bin da rein zufällig auf der Landstraße vorbeigekommen - und hab mich dann 2 Stunden um und in der Kirche aufgehalten (es fand grad eine Taufe statt). Erstaunlicherweise weist kein Reiseführer auf dieses architektonische Wunderwerk hin.
