Berlin. AquaDom .... hier fuhr der Fahrstuhl durch ein Aquarium zu den Hotelzimmern

Dieses Foto habe ich erstmals im Juni 2015 veröffentlicht.
Aus gegebener Veranlassung halte ich die Aktualisierung für erforderlich.
Am 16. Dezember 2022, morgens um 5:43 h ist das Aquarium zerplatzt.
Derzeit wird vermutet, dass Materialermüdung den Crash verursacht hat.
Der AquaDom wurde 2003 eröffnet.
Ca. 1 Mio l Salzwasser wurden, einer Flutwelle gleich, in die Lobby des Hotels und hinaus auf die Straße gespült. Bei Außentemperaturen um -10 Grad starben nahezu alle der rd. 1.500 seltenen, tropischen Fische. Es ist so traurig ...

Schlimme Geschichte, glücklicherweise ist ja "nur" den Fischen was passiert
