Looking for a keyhole

Looking for a keyhole
I found this old key in the garden 30 odd years ago. It doesn't fit any doors, and now hangs in our outside privy (now a garden shed). The colours on the brickwork show what previous owners of the house thought would be suitable in a privy. The walls could be rubbed down and repainted, but I like it like this. :-)

PiP 1 shows a rusty hinge on our greenhouse door.

PiP 2 shows some rust on garden furniture

I love the traces of rust on all 3 photos and I like the peeling paint on the privy very much! You were wise to leave it that way:-)

For a start, the shed needs converting back into an outside loo; everyone should have one, particularly in summer: they are a delight. The encrusted key no doubt belongs to a local shed or castle which contains a skeleton chained to a wall. You should investigate, or send some local urchin to investigate.

WOW!! What a fantastic rusty presentation! LOVE the key, it's just marvelous. Also love the last PIP, the composition and shapes are fabulous! :) Great shots, all of them. Also enjoyed reading what you had to say and I agree, leave the wall alone, it's COOL! :)
