I'm afraid there won't be any tales of seagull chicks this year as my neighbours had just about had enough of being dive bombed by worried "gull parents", so they have put the humane plastic spikes up there on my roof in between the chimneys. Recently I was unable to slice some beef nicely, and my son commented that my ‘favourite’ knife didn’t have a shiny edge to it anymore. I used a different knife, one that I don’t use often, and it was very sharp and did the job nicely. I’ve commented before about the pro’s of living near a town centre; easy access to shops, library, GP and so on, the con of living here, is also proximity to all the shops and of course the people. The necessary adaptations of this website that is ten years old, both in conception and technology, to be technically up to date are getting more and more difficult and expensive. This reprogramming does not focus on changing functionality or design, but on improving the technical basis in order to reduce costs and improve operational reliability. In view of increasing security requirements, the website must also be SSL-encrypted as quickly as possible. In view of changing user habits, it must be better adapted to mobile devices. Of course, the opportunity can also be used to consider long-cherished wishes if they are affordable.
