After rain of biblical proportions over the last couple of days today we had sunshine,a very welcome sight. I went to feed the birds as normal and to my delight I noticed a few more blooms in the Crocus tub and that brightened the day even more.
While the show won't be anything like 4 years ago with the wildflower patch I may have at least some little blocks of colour in the tubs. It was such a simple thing seeing a few tiny blooms coming through but that's what makes all the work and disapointment worth it.

I now have six croci, all yellow as they're always first here.
My neighbour looked very unhappy today as his lawn is looking more and more like the Shikotsu - Toya Volcano Park on Hokkaido with dozens of Mole hills sprouting during each night, in the past they remained in the field adjacent to our gardens.
Keep warm and safe.
