After a chilly star the morning warmed up nicely reaching 48f by lunch time. After my normal routine of checking the bird feeders and feeding the cats I settled down to watch the birds at breakfast which is always entertaining.
I decided to make a start on the bramble patch down the side of the house. This was inaccessible while the shed was up so there is a lot to do. Apart from a bramble patch 5'wide 10' long and 10' high in places there is all sorts of clutter there. I started with the hedge shears and was making good progress when I felt a twinge in my back so I downed tools,a bit of a bummer but a little progress is better than none.
When I checked the tubs earlier I noticed the last tub to show any green has a last sprung into life and there are 6 or 7 shoots just appearing, what they are only time will tell.

Good that things are springing up at last.
I found three yellow croci in my garden today.
Ann and Peter have some gorgeous crocuses up in the grass, will go out tomorrow and hopefully take some photos
