We didn't get the promised rain today,at least not yet. It was a fine morning with sunny spells so I wandered into town early for some picture hooks and a few odds and ends.
I bumped into quite a few folk I know so the quick trip lasted nearly two hours.
I needed the picture hooks for a little job in the kitchen. I only have 2 drawers and two cabinets in the kitchen so I am struggling for space.
I did put my pans on the wall a while ago
so today I hung the frying pan and the big wok over the hob with the 2 utensils.
Then I gathered up bits that are hard to store tidily in the available drawer space and hung them on the wall above the work surface with a few I already had there.
That's what the picture hooks were for because it saves drilling and rawl plugging the wall.
I really need another wall cabinet or some shelves so I will dig about in my little tool store and see what I have. If I find nothing suitable I will raid Allan's shed, between us we should have something suitable.
This is a photo I took yesterday of the squabbling starlings at the feeder.

Talking of things in drawers do you find that small ones always end up at the back?
Cup hooks, well the ones we have are very good in the bathroom for hanging towels on.
Nice bunch of photos especially the Starlings.
Starlings can be very noisy, pretty though.
