I have returned from the dangers of the mainland back to God's Island. I paid a visit to the The numpty house as part of my care in the community work.
My first job was finding anything pointy so they would come to no harm and then hiding it. They are not good with pointy things. Then I had to sit while they force fed me beer. It is a very tough job but I soldier on through. We had a visit from their new neighbour's a pleasant pair of young ladies and we chatted about bugger all really for the afternoon.
Back home again and filing my report while before I make dinner, stir fried chicken with herbs and rice is on the menu, simple to make but very tasty.
For any newbies who stumble across this blog and haven't fallen asleep yet I should explain the numpties. The man of the house is Pep a friend for 40 years and his delightful wife Dot. ( I had to put that last bit in there is just a chance she will sober up long enough top read this rubbish ) They wander through life like a rudderless ship on the high seas not really understanding what life is like in the real world but I keep them on because in their own rustic way they amuse me. I have a couple of photos from my walk over I will post them later but here is a photo of the weird folk.
