The rain has lashed down again today leaving me stuck inside. It seems an absolute age since I got a walk along the beach. I had a rethink about the fittings for the hob and think I have it right now, but tomorrow is another day and it is not unknown for me to change course on projects as a better idea comes to mind.
Thinking and planning apart I have done very little, I even watched a little footie on the goggle box, thankfully the egg chasers are back next week so I won't have to watch the overpaid footbtallers going down as though shot when somebody touches them.I then returned to Wind in the Willows which I finished. For those who haven't come across me before I am returning to books I haven't read since Everest was a mole hill. This book had me chuckling all the way through,I think it's what they call a feel good factor read. Something a little heavier beckons me next probably Dickens I think, he is my favourite author.
You know when you are peckish but not sure what to have? I wanted nothing to heavy just a snack sort of thing so decided on eggy bread drizzled in honey, very simple but very tasty. I followed this with some fig biscuits ( that's cookies to you colonials ) and a coffee. OK off to dip into my Dickens collection catch you later

I love to re read my books. That's one of the reasons I can't bear to part with them.. If I liked them I want to re read them down the road. Some that I like more than others like "Gone with the Wind" i've read several times.. They never stop entertaining me!
