It's been typical weather here the last few days. On Friday as I wrote I got a lot done in the back garden and on Saturday morning the sun shone again but with rain forecast later in the day. With this in mind I mowed and strimmed the front garden and sure enough just after lunch the heavens opened and stayed open all day and into the night. On Sunday the rain stopped but the temps had dropped from the mid 70s to the low 60s with a cold north easterly blowing through. Monday the rain returned but this time nice gentle summer rain and I made a dash to town. Tuesday sunny again with a cool breeze and today warmer and less wind. I picked 5lbs of Gooseberries for Allan and Sue and there is 10 times that amount still left.Tomorrow we have rain forecast again such is life in these parts. I took a snap of this miniature rose I spotted out the front when I was putting the rubbish out for recycling, pretty little thing with loads more to come.
I also have a photo of Ellen with Mia,the first time Ellen has nursed her when here eyes have been open, Mia's that is not Ellen's.
I am going to sit in the garden for an hour or so and catch up on some reading while the weather holds.

Nice photos.
Yesterday was great, today it was dull until lunchtime.
Keep well.
Mia and Ellen - what a lovely sight - how about one of Gemma and Arron with Mia - that would be lovely.
Love the photos.
