[EN] Dear Members and friends of ipernity! On 8th of September - one week after the transfer of this website from ipernity S.A to ima - we've informed you that we would recheck the deadline for the acceptance of subscriptions, which have been made before Dec. 31st, 2016, if the site’s financial condition would allow it. Meanwhile we've evaluated the whole database of ipernity (with more than 210,000 accounts) completely. The result is pleasing: The number of club-members is sufficient (…

Please be sure that I'm doing my best to make the deal happen. Thank You for your patience and your understanding. Christophe Ruelle. PS : I will not be able to reply to all emails / comments shortly.

Hello, I'm sad to announce that we have a possible fraud artist in the donation of IMA crowdfunding for ipernity. It means that rather than almost 21k, we are at almost 18k which is still a great number in such a few day. IMA contacted Indigogo (who owns Generosity) to investigate the question. It doesn't mean that giving through Generosity isn't safe, simply that somebody stole credit card numbers somewhere and are using it to make donation for odd reasons. Please continue to par…

[EN] Hello to you all, 10,000$ has been collected already! We are amazed by your investement. Thank you so much for any participation, even the smallest, you are willing to do. And, please, KEEP spreading the information : https://www.generosity.com/community-fundraising/ipernity-members-association-a-non-profit-entity/ Sincerely, Ipernity team ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [FR] Bonjour…

Les premiers résultats du sondage.

Dear friends, please stay! I do not believe it is helpful to panic, escape from Ipernity, and build refugee communities on other platforms. In order to stay in contact with each other you do not need to escape; you should better stay here where we already have this great community and these contacts. To escape at this point is not rational: It is weakening Ipernity. And it weakens our own community. You are already about to split onto different platforms. I am not saying above on the…

[EN] As you may know (or not), the whole Team is located in the Alpes-Maritimes department in France. Yesterday, during the celebrations of Bastille Day, an attack happened in Nice, many people were killed or injured. We just wanted to let you know that if our heart aches, the ipernity Team is safe. We also wanted to express our solidarity with the people touched.

[EN] As requested by many of you the permalinks are now back on ipernity! You can find them at the bottom of each comment and group discussion. Permalinks will soon be integrated into the news pages to make them easier to use. What is a permalink?

**EDIT: this problem is now solved ( learn more ) Many of you have reported a problem concerning unwanted photos from Martin Williamson automatically posted in groups or albums. Don't worry it's not a virus, just a bug in our database system. We are going to fix it and these unwanted photos will be automatically removed in a couple of hours. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. We are living an exceptional moment with a massive arrival of flickr users. It may cause some conge…

Hello all! For financial reasons and to limit certain abuses we were compelled to reserve to members of the ipernity Club only the possibility to download and offer to download their content. This new policy has been in effect since April 9th 2013 without being able to inform in advance users with free accounts. We sincerely apologize for this. For users who have free accounts created before these new policies we have established the possibility to download their content if they…

[EN] After listening to your first comments, here are some adjustments we are currently working on: - comments : replies to replies will come back, permalinks also, as soon as we find the right technical solution and a good layout (we don't want to infinitely shift the replies on the right). We were probably stupids to think that one level of reply was enough. Sorry for that! - home page customization : more blocks of content and more settings for each block (what content, what layout)…
