Well folks, I have tried to stop making these pendants, but I am so enjoying making them, but what am I going to do with them? I don't wear any jewellry myself, so making them seems daft to me!! I will get around to selling them, but it's something I don't know how to start or what to say, or how much to charge - it's daft I know - but that roughly sums me up!!!
I've got to take an eye test for my driving licence, but as I haven't got a car and unless my daughter comes over here for Christmas (which she has said many times that it's what she wants to do - as long as the vaccinations laws don't change ) then I'll buy a car so we can drive around. So really as I have no way of getting to the opticians for this test (apart from an extortionate cost of a taxi) I've decided to wait until I get a car. I don't go out anyway, so it's pointless to do it yet. Sounds daft eh? well my brain made it sound sensible when I first thought about it.
So here are a few of the latest ones I've made......
and these are the earrings.....
I'm quite happy to give some away - I feel honoured that people actually like them.
Yesterday evening, I realised that I hadn't seen Pippin since breakfast - that's really strange as he's usually walking across my laptop wanting a brush or treats. I went outside and called him - nothing - then just as I was about to go to bed, I had a sudden thought that maybe he was upstairs in Mandi's room. Earlier on I had asked Emily to put something up there for me - and she has a habit of closing doors. So I crawled upstairs and whoa - the bedroom door was closed!!!! I went and opened it up and a black shape shot out and stood at the top of the stairs and miaowed his complaint. He'd been up there shut in for over 11 hours!!! I didn't go in to see if he'd had an "accident" - Emily can do that when she comes on Tuesday!!!! He slept on the other pillow on my bed all night - right next to me! Poor thing - he probably thought he'd better stay near in case he got stuck again.
Well what's the weather like in your neck of the woods? I honestly don't know what's going on here. One minute it's warm, next thing it's raining and windy, then it's cold and the thermal vest is pulled out of storage - then the damn sun comes out and it's warm again, so the vest has to go back into the drawers. I'm not surprised that people are getting colds. I'm waiting for my flu jab this year - last year they forgot to give me one - so it's just as well I didn't catch flu. I also have to have a booster COVID jab - so I'm waiting for that too.
Okay I think that's about it - things are quiet here, so there's not a lot to write about. I hope you are all okay and are keeping safe.
I've been making Christmas tree decorations too.....

Good thing you thought about Mandis room! Pippin was upset Im sure!
Our weather has been quite decent really. I can't complain at the moment. Give me time for the snow to hit! Several of the Midwest states have already had quite a bit!
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to GracieYes, Pippin was very happy that for once my brain was in gear when I thought about the room. Emily has apologised profusely and promises to never close the doors upstairs!!!
Good luck with the snow - it won't be long I don't think!!!

Oh, poor cat! He must have been wondering what was going on. Thank goodness you found him! You'll need to tell Emily to leave the upstairs doors open so he doesn't get 'stuck' again. I am glad he's okay though.
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to Bee OrchidOh you poor thing - I haven't even thought about heating yet. In fact I had the lounge window open until 9pm tonight!!! It's obviously warmer down here that where you are.
Yes Emily full of remorse, but it's nothing to have a go at her, she was doing good things by keeping doors shut - as they aren't in use (or so she thought!!). She said she won't make the same mistake again - but the poor girl is running ragged with looking after the baby as well as her own family and going to work!!! I couldn't do it - I know. He's fine - he's now changed his sleeping place - my bed!!!
Regarding poor Pippin, my cats could sympathize as I have done that to them a few times!
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to Valfal clubOh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one to make mistakes regarding closing doors on cats!!!!
