I'm sorry folks for not having written a blog lately - but I've not really been doing anything much, certainly not worth writing about. Anyway I thought I'd just write a quickie here to let you know what's been going on in my part of the world.

The other day I woke up to cooler weather and a sort of mizzle (a misty drizzle) and I saw that some spiders had been busy!!!

Now I'm not a fan of these 8 legged creatures but you can't help but admire the tenacity of them when they decide to create a web. Personally if it's dry and I don't see one of these webs, and walk into one - I can tell you that my language is really fraught!!! Lots of **!!*+ and probably a lot of other things! Whereas if it's damp and there's been a mizzle and therefore the moisture sticks to these webs - well beauty or what!!!! I sat and watched one spider actually weave one of these incredible works of art. I suppose if you were to imagine the size of it and the amount of travelling it's done to create this, it's a marathon and a half!!! It's so exact and so beautiful. Imagine having all that sticky stuff in you, and you have to walk around and around spilling this stuff behind you to make a web like this!!! I think this is the only time I actually admire these creatures!!

Of course I've also been making resin pendants and I really must start to sell them - I must have about 500 of them now - and I keep saying that I'm going to stop and go back to patchwork quilting, but then I find myself ordering more resin, so I can make some more pendants!!!!! Go figure - I'm a nut!!!

The problem is that I enjoy doing it. I find different things to put in these pendants and voila - I'm in the middle of making more.

I've also started to make resin snowflakes to hang off the Christmas tree (sorry - was that a bad word to utter in September???)!!! LOL.

I have already made the individual squares to make the patchwork, so all I have to do is to iron them, and sew them together, then when that's done - fill it and put a backing on and I'll feel nice and warm again!!! Mind you - my cleaner - Emily has just had a grandson and I promised to make him a frog or soft toy - so maybe I should make one first before I do anything else.

Are there enough hours in the day I ask myself? Nearly comes my answer!!! I do hope you all are well and especially Andy has got over his COVID nightmare. It's so important that we all take care and stay safe - otherwise who will read this blog?!!!
