I went out last night - it looked as if it would be a good sunset and as I hadn't been out for a sunset for ages, I decided to go for it!

I drove down to the same place in West Appledore as I'd been the other day. I would be facing the sunset and it was somewhere where I could park my car easily and it was a different view....

It was a tad chilly, although no wind, you could still feel that it wasn't a balmy night!!!!

The tide was coming in, and the water was like a millpond - so calm...

Even the little trawler chugging its way home only caused little wavelets..

Then the sun started to dip towards the horizon and it was getting really quite cold by this time, so luckily I had a good woollen shawl in the car and I was soon toasty...

In front of me was the trimaran and at first it was high and dry, but the tide came in quite quickly and the picture changed all the time...

I noticed the setting sun was reflected in the windows at Westward Ho! just down the coast from me - about 2 miles away....

The sun started to go down quickly.......

Eventually the sun went down below the horizon and the colours really started to come out....

It was then very cold and I really didn't want to catch a cold - it was so lovely and peaceful there. There were quite a few con-trails marking the ways of the passing jets on their way to the US/Canada as that is the next stop from the UK that way.
