Oh well yesterday was an interesting one - one that got more interesting late in the evening!!!!
It all started this morning when I thought my appointment for a blood test was at 12pm whereas it wasn't until 12.15!! Luckily my driver from the volunteer cars arrived early or else I'd have been sitting on the damp wall getting colder and colder waiting.
Then I went shopping, getting all the things I thought I needed, but upon getting home realised that I'd forgotten a few things - no problem, I'll find my way around that.............
Then I looked at the quilt again and really decided that I didn't like the red/white parts, so had to unpick the seams there!!!!!!! So then I realised I would have to make 16 more blocks and didn't have enough of the material to do the yellow blocks!...................
So off to e-bay I went and looked at my previous purchase history and ordered more of the yellow material - so I felt that at least I was finishing the day off on a higher note..............er......no!!!!!!!!!!!
I trundled my way up the stairs and got ready for bed - I flung back the duvet and quilt only to be greeted by a soggy wet mess!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I must have knocked the full jug of water {I keep it to water the plants in my bedroom} off the counter at the bottom of the bed onto the bed itself when I made it in the morning. It had had all day to seep down through the duvet and sheets etc to the mattress!!!!!!!!!!
Luckily I had a new duvet in the spare room, so I had to strip the bed, then grab the other duvet from the other room and begin to make the bed - at 2 in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I eventually finished off the bed around 2.30am and was thoroughly exhausted. It was a good thing that I was going to bed, otherwise I'd have fallen asleep anyway!!!!
Hopefully today will carry on going well - although I am a bit concerned about the chicken stew I've made and is cooking slowly in the slow cooker! Doesn't taste as it should...........oh no!!!!!!!!!!
Okay - speak to you later.x

Hope the chicken is ok. If it tastes funky better to not eat it than get sick!
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to GracieCareful with the chicken if in doubt throw it out, funny stuff chicken.
It is comforting to know I am not along in the OH NO! stakes
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to Mickey fezAs for tastless chicken, (often a problem if they've been frozen) other spices than those already suggested being Kardemomme, Ginger, Nutmeg, Basil and or Sage, various types of Curry (Thai, Japanese, Malay) always in very small measures fiirst time round.
