Guy Lombardo and the Royal Canadians featuring the vocals of brother Carmen Lombardo first issued "Don't Blame Me" (Jimmy McHiugh - Dorothy Fields) in 1933 and reached the top ten. This is from the movie "Dinner at Eight". The song was also featured in the 1932 revue "Clowns in Clover".

The Everly Brothers peaked in the top twenty in 1961 with the cover of "Don't Blame Me" from the album "Both Sides of an Evening". Apparently that's Hank Garland's guitar featured although Chet Atkins and Harold Bradley were also on the session. The album was completed in just three days and did not chart.
