Grateful Dead, Morcheeba, Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Pixies, The Fall, Antony & The Johnsons, Chemical Brothers, Van Morrison, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Leonard Cohen, Indigo Girls, KD Laing, Nick Cave, The Pogues, Saul Williams, Paul Weller, the list goes on

Favorite movies and actors:

Almodovar, Lynch, Kusturica, Wim Wenders, Wong Kar Wai, FFCoppola, ....... to name a few. Harry Dean Stanton is a reliable indicator of good films! Cate Blanchett, can do no wrong. 'Heaven's Gate' is a masterpiece. 'Bladerunner' is necessary viewing. 'Daywatch' is due for release!!!

Sci Fi and Fantasy including anything by William Gibson or Iain M Banks. Robert Heinlein and Frank Herbert for the classics. Julian May 'Saga of the Exiles' Charles de Lindt is good. Gormenghast trilogy. Jeanette Winterson 'The Passion' Harukai Murukami - anything by this guy. Sebastian Faulkes Graphic novels - Neil Gaiman, Slaine, Catwoman :)
