Mural idea for near a door.
No angry person would be able to enter through the door without first having their anger mocked by the artwork.

The fence is a real fence. Crazy!

Public art idea: a rock on a column for plaza seating.
But wait, it is more than a tasteful decoration: The sculpture is Asteroid Landed Softly by Kazuo Matsubiyashi, completed 1993. It is a sundial. Its timetelling gnomon casts a shaft of light (as opposed to a more typical shadow-casting gnomon). The seatin…

Rifle, hoe, finger, baby, and bible.
Maybe this is hard to see, but the wife is preparing to give her man a wet willy and will use her Pioneer Woman Literacy to try to read him a bible verse without dropping the baby. Do you see the baby and the bible.

The "Seagull Arms Apartments."
No I'm just kidding, it's the "Outrigger Motel."

A seagull's arms are boomerangs. By taking a picture of the misshapen seagull artwork, I am mocking small businesspeople and southerners.

Most U.S. buildings of this general style haven't got giant sculptures attached to their fronts — especially in smaller cities such as Johnson City, Tennessee (seen here.) So this was unusual. It was good.

Wind or wend your way up to the security cameras.
The security cameras weren't originally part of this creation at the time of its erection in the 1970s.

As long as we're redesigning the sculptures of the past to suit ourselves, I'd like to see a statue put on top of it.
