Marvão, Ramparts, looking Norwest

What an awesome view from up there................and a superbly composed image. The out of focus foreground really makes the castle stand out against the landscape and sky. Beautifully done Isabel.

Wow! That is so high!

I stayed at a campsite just down the road from Marvao last September and I think the entire area is quite fascinating - so much history and so many castles! I was planning to stay around there for two or three days and ended up staying there for ten. It’s one of the (many) areas in Portugal that I could quite easily move too.
