Precious Opal

Precious Opal
I have very quickly fallen for the sweet nature of Opal. She reminds me so much of Zinnia, a cat that exudes gentleness and can calm and unite felines. Jewel can be a bit testy, but Opal patiently wins her over. Jewel despised the 2 1/2 week old kittens, but Opal instinctively knew they needed both bathing and nursing. Opal tried in vain to provide them with breast milk.

I so hope to introduce the shy Opal to our main crew of felines. Perhaps, just perhaps, Opal can fill a role vacated when the amazingly gentle Zinnia found her forever home. Curio, Vidalia, Mr. Grigsby, are you ready to give Opal a chance?

I hope they do! She is so sweet and her nature seem so sweet too. Good luck with them all. I still wonder how Zinnia is doing, I have a very soft spot for her.

Sweet calico.
Her nose is pale. Is she just nervous?
