Die Kastenbockwindmühle wurde um 1600 errichtet. Mehrfach wurde die Mühle saniert und repariert, Eigentumsverhältnisse wechselten und 1939 wurde sie gar als Flakstellung im zweiten Weltkrieg genutzt.
