Roman Ruins of Timgad

Timgad was a Roman city in the Aurès Mountains of Algeria. It was founded by the Roman Emperor Trajan around 100 AD.

Wir waren kürzlich in Marokko und haben dort Volubilis besichtigt, wo die Römer schon 2 Jahrhunderte früher eine ähnliche Stadt aufgebaut haben.
Timgad scheint auch sehr gut erhalten zu sein. Feines Bild.

Da war ich hingegen schon, allerdings bin ich ehrlich gesagt begeisterter von Volubilis als vom Forum Romanum in Rom, vielleicht hat das aber auch mit dem tollem Ambiente in Marokko zu tun;)
