Western Pacific
Niles, CA, is a historic railway town (see www.ncry.org/about/.) It was also the home of one of the first West Coast motion picture companies, and Charlie Chaplin and Broncho Billy Anderson filmed some of their most famous silent movies in Niles.

Mendocino
Since we can't currently upload images, ipernity recommends to repost something old that was not appreciated in its time. It was actually rather interesting to look at my "least appreciated" pictures. Here's one from six years ago, taken on my birthday, actually, when we took a trip to Mendocino/Fort Bragg.
