Bighorn Sheep 02 20111116

This little flock had quite the surprise in store if you follow the four pictures in the series. I had pulled over as soon as I came around the corner to let them pass. They tightened their formation in this shot - I assumed to hug the far shoulder and get past us. Instead their pace quickened and they started across the road directly towards us. Surrounding us they licked the car clean in about 90 seconds - front to back - then carried on. We passed the same flock this year but they were down closer to Medicine Lake and took no notice of us.
