st margaret's church, barking, essex (67) c17 cherub and c16 dishonest alewife from a doom?

painting on roof spandrel over chancel arch. c17 cherub looks to have been repainted at some point, perhaps inthe late c18, but what to make of the figures below? perhaps a scarlet woman or whore of babylon sitting on her beast, with a doomed soul below? odd position for her if part of a doom though, so perhaps marian post dissolution work? an unusual subject in an unusual position, but doesn't look like a c17 design
