euston tube station, london

euston tube station, london
station built on drummond street for the charing cross branch of the northern line in 1907, closed as surplus to requirements in 1914. the lift shafts lie just behind the corner arches; one void now contains a vast inlet fan for ventilating the system. the station is threatened by the planned rebuilding of euston for hs2.
