teulon redressed a preaching box by j.horne of 1735 between 1866 and 1874, its grazed-knuckle brickwork evident here on the rusticated s.e. corner of the nave where he has added terracotta toothing in between the bricks which were presumably hidden with stucco in the church's original georgian form.
