remains of the c14 sedilia cover earlier work, just above to the right can be seen the trefoil head of a priests door, then to the left can be seen a small piscina and above it what has been described as a low side window, but given the position it was probably an aumbry. there must have been a lot of changes of plan here, with this being made redundant by the pillar piscina to the east.
