the tomb chest of ceasar saunders, + 1762, whose will left money to the church for the upkeep of his memorial, a problem solved for eternity in 1822 by the casting of a fairly indestructible iron slab topping the chest, which includes other family members too, and incidentally memorialises the vicar and church wardens of the time too.
