at first I thought this to be a jacobean roof over the north transept, but the lack of c18 nail holes from a ceiling and the mixture of polygonal necking with apparent cushion capitals on the pillars make me suspicious of what remains a good open roof. it's probably an old roof that had masses of C19 work done to it, but I couldn't find out enough details from lambeth palace records to nail this one down, so if anyone knows anything.....
