c18 shobdon church, herefordshire, 1750-2, a kent/langley mashup possibly by vardy

the ornate norman church was rebuilt in gothick , possibly by shrewsbury architect thomas farnolls pritchard though many other designers have been suggested. the west tower was added first in 1725-30, replacing the central tower which fell in 1719; the rest rebuilt 1749-52, using details from kent and langley.
