Fragment of an oak overdoor panel found floating on the surface of the Atlantic. This panel marks the point where the Titanic broke in half as it sank on the night of 14 April 1912. It is a remarkable survival and the largest remaining fragment from the ship. Situated over the door to the first-class lounge, the panel's motif of musical instruments carved in the Rococo style demonstrates the high-quality decoration on board. This is the first time the panel has been seen in Europe since the Titanic set sail.
