And of course, the Madras College can be seen here. The cleverest boy in Miss Grey's class, and no doubt in the classes in the Madras College, was called Gavin Brown. I used to sit next him at the back, in the streamed seating in class. mathshistory.st-andrews.ac.uk/Obituaries/Brown_Gavin_Scotsman
