I actually really like shipwrecks, Joe, but I suppose if they are too prevalent they might become an eyesore. Areas do need cleaning out. When the River Severn was at one of its low points in early June we noticed that several bikes, a supermarket trolley and a scooter were dredged out. The mud made the riverside walkway look really awful for a while.

At low tide, you can see a bike in the River Leven. There is also a car somewhere at the bottom of the river. Pictures of the car floating down the river were posted online. Nobody has yet discovered where it sank. I photograph wrecks in the Leven, and put them in a Flickr album. Currently, there are thirty photographs therein. Thank you, Amelia, for your very kind comment. All the best, Joe
