Tulip Tree
Liriodendron tulipifera on Wikipedia

L. tulipifera is a vigorous large deciduous tree with distinctively shaped leaves turning butter-yellow in autumn. Quoted from the RHS website.

It has a lot of growing still to do. There is an enormous Tulip tree in the Stourhead gardens. They are spectacular in the autumn....you were too late. LOL! It's a good picture all the same Joe.
Cheers, Rosa.

I photographed a nice tulip tree in Balloch Park last week, Rosa. I shall certainly revisit both trees next year to, hopefully, photograph the flowers. Thanks for your lovely comment. Cheers, Joe

Not really the right time for photos of the liliodendron. The best is end of May or June.
